Respite Centre opens in Kellyville

Our overnight respite home, formerly located in Carlingford, was relocated to a modern house in Kellyville. Willmette now offers increased capacity including a room for couples, and unlike many other homes, offers both short-term, weekend and day-stay care.

The final leg for The Gracewood Community

Construction commenced on the third and final stage of The Gracewood Community at Kellyville, consisting of 88 new apartments, and bringing the total to 241 apartments. The final stage will open in May 2020.

We opened 82 new Social and Affordable Housing dwellings in New Lambton (February), Goulburn (March), Lismore (March) and Springwood (May). The units have been developed and operated by BaptistCare for the NSW Government’s $1bn Social and Affordable Housing Fund (SAHF).

Our annual fundraising event raised much-needed funds for our services supporting women and children who are experiencing domestic violence. With Channel Ten’s Sandra Sully and magician Cosentino, the event raised over $145,000.
